PRODUCT FEATURES
Product advantages
T-cell-specific purification
Immunomagnetic negative selection recovers human T-cell-derived migrasomes from blood samples.
Low contamination, consistent quality
Multistep enrichment and magnetic-bead purification reduce non-target components and protein contamination to support consistent sample quality.
Broad sample compatibility
Suitable for human peripheral blood and fresh plasma; plasma stored at -80°C can also be processed as directed in the manual.
Broad downstream applications
Isolated samples can be used for migrasome counting, protein and RNA analysis, and cell function assays.
SAMPLE REQUIREMENTS
Sample requirements
Suitable samples are human peripheral blood or plasma. Fresh plasma and plasma stored at -80°C may be used.
Plasma collection centrifugation conditions and increased platelet fragments after freezing and thawing may affect migrasome yield and recovery.
Use sodium citrate collection tubes. EDTA-anticoagulated blood has been tested but showed more platelet contamination. Other anticoagulants have not been tested; evaluating the suitability of other anticoagulants and sample sources before use is recommended.
Peripheral blood intended for plasma preparation must not be stored for more than 4 hours before migrasome extraction.
Plasma obtained using blood-filtration membranes is not suitable.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Which samples are suitable?
The kit extracts T-cell-derived migrasomes from human peripheral blood or plasma. Fresh plasma and plasma stored at -80°C may be used, but preparation conditions and freezing and thawing may affect yield and recovery. Plasma obtained using blood-filtration membranes is not suitable.
Which anticoagulant is recommended?
Use sodium citrate collection tubes. EDTA-anticoagulated blood has been tested but showed more platelet contamination. Other anticoagulants have not been tested; evaluating their suitability before use is recommended.
How long may fresh peripheral blood be held?
Peripheral blood used to prepare plasma should not be held for more than 4 hours before migrasome extraction because hemolysis may substantially affect separation.
How is one test defined?
One test is a crude preparation totaling OD280=100, calculated as A280 multiplied by sample volume in μL. PRHB003 and PRHB003S provide 20 and 5 tests, respectively.
How should centrifuge rotors be selected?
Use a swinging-bucket rotor when practical for low-speed plasma preparation and a fixed-angle rotor of 45° or greater for 20,000×g enrichment.
