PRODUCT FEATURES
Product advantages
Total cell-derived migrasome isolation
Suitable for isolating total cell-derived migrasomes from mouse blood or plasma.
Low contamination, consistent quality
Multistep enrichment, purification, and magnetic-bead negative selection reduce non-target components and protein contamination.
Flexible sample types
Suitable for mouse whole blood, plasma, or serum; samples stored at -80°C can also be processed as directed in the manual.
Broad downstream applications
Suitable for migrasome counting and imaging, protein and RNA analysis, and cell function studies.
SAMPLE REQUIREMENTS
Sample requirements
Samples stored at -80°C may be used, but freeze-thawing and plasma-preparation conditions may affect yield and recovery. Plasma obtained through blood-filtration membranes is not suitable.
Low-binding consumables are recommended throughout the procedure. A fixed-angle rotor of 45° or greater is recommended for 20,000×g enrichment.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Which samples are suitable?
Mouse peripheral blood, plasma, or serum is suitable, including plasma or serum stored at -80°C. Freeze-thawing and plasma-preparation conditions may affect yield and recovery. Plasma obtained through blood-filtration membranes is not suitable.
Which anticoagulant is recommended?
The manual recommends EDTA collection tubes. Sodium-citrate blood has been tested but yielded less than EDTA; other anticoagulants require user evaluation.
How long may fresh peripheral blood be held?
Peripheral blood should not be held for more than 4 hours before migrasome extraction because hemolysis may substantially affect separation.
How can platelet contamination be reduced?
Minimize mechanical disturbance of blood, conduct low-speed plasma preparation at room temperature, and keep enrichment and purification stages at 4°C. If contamination is severe, repeat the purification workflow as directed.
