Migrasome Imaging and Detection

For migrasome labeling, imaging, detection, and sample preparation.

MigraPrep™︎ ECM - Cultured-Cell ECM Matrix

EL001

For preparing culture surfaces and promoting adherent-cell attachment to support in-vitro migrasome production, in-situ observation, or subsequent isolation.

Product specifications

Use this page for product selection and experiment planning. Consult the EL001 series manual for the full procedure and limitations.

Migrasome formation depends on cell migration and integrin–extracellular-matrix interactions. MigraPrep ECM mimics ECM to promote adhesion to the culture surface and support migrasome formation.

The product can be used to prepare a culture surface before in-situ migrasome observation or migrasome isolation. Output may differ across cells and matrix conditions.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which cells are suitable for MigraPrep ECM?

Migratory adherent cell lines or primary cells are recommended. Adhesion and migration differ by cell type and require validation.

What starting concentration is recommended?

A 1:300 dilution is recommended as a starting point, but the optimal concentration should be adjusted for cell type, dish format, and study objective.

How long should the surface be treated?

Incubation at 37°C for at least 1 h is recommended. Optimize the matrix concentration for the cell type.

How can excessive cell density be avoided?

A confluence of 20%–40% at harvest and a lower seeding density for faster-migrating cells are recommended.

How can matrix conditions be confirmed?

Before routine production, in situ WGA staining and microscopic examination are recommended. Compare matrix concentrations under matched cell and imaging conditions.
