MigraPrep™︎ Turbo - Density-Gradient-Free Rapid Cultured-Cell Migrasome Production and Purification Kit
PRC004
Integrates cultured-cell migrasome production, differential-centrifugation enrichment, and immunomagnetic purification in a density-gradient-free workflow.
Use this page for product selection and experiment planning. Consult the PRC004 series manual for the full procedure and limitations.
The kit is intended for producing and purifying migrasomes from cultured cells. It avoids density gradients and instead uses purification reagents and immunomagnetic negative selection after differential-centrifugation enrichment to reduce endomembrane-derived contaminants.
It is suitable for migratory adherent cell lines or primary cells. Migratory capacity, seeding density, extracellular matrix, and detachment conditions require cell-specific optimization.
Components and storage
| Component | Qty. | Storage |

| Buffer B | PRC004: 50 mLPRC004S: 10 mL | Store at 4°C. Purification reagent C may be kept longer at -20°C but repeated freeze-thaw cycles must be avoided. Do not freeze or allow magnetic bead suspension D to ice. |
| Purification reagent C | PRC004: 200 μLPRC004S: 40 μL | Store at 4°C. Purification reagent C may be kept longer at -20°C but repeated freeze-thaw cycles must be avoided. Do not freeze or allow magnetic bead suspension D to ice. |
| Magnetic bead suspension D | PRC004: 400 μLPRC004S: 80 μL | Store at 4°C. Purification reagent C may be kept longer at -20°C but repeated freeze-thaw cycles must be avoided. Do not freeze or allow magnetic bead suspension D to ice. |
PRODUCT FEATURES
Product advantages
Integrated production and purification
Covers cell seeding, migrasome production, crude isolation, and magnetic-bead purification for a complete cultured-cell migrasome preparation workflow.
Purification without a density gradient
Uses purification reagents and a magnetic-bead negative-selection system without preparing a density gradient or using an ultracentrifuge.
Fast and easy to perform
Simplifies conventional density-gradient purification; the procedure uses a centrifuge capable of up to 18,000 × g and a magnetic rack.
Broad downstream applications
Purified samples can be used for migrasome counting, protein and RNA analysis, and cell function assays.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Are ultracentrifugation and density gradients required?
The workflow combines 18,000×g enrichment with immunomagnetic negative selection and does not use density-gradient purification.
Which cells are suitable?
Migratory adherent cell lines or primary cells are recommended. Migratory capacity, culture density, matrix, and detachment conditions require optimization.
How should the crude input be selected?
The manual generally recommends approximately 50 µg of crude migrasomes. Recovery is approximately 50% for L929 cells and may vary substantially among cell types; optimize for the sample.
How should the magnetic beads be stored?
Store magnetic bead suspension D at 4°C, do not freeze or allow it to ice, and mix thoroughly before use.
How should purified migrasomes be stored?
For nucleic-acid or protein studies, the pellet may be stored at -80°C after supernatant removal. Short-term storage at 4°C is better suited to morphology, count, surface-property, or activity studies. Freezing may cause aggregation or rupture.
