PRODUCT FEATURES
Product advantages
Neutrophil-specific purification
Multistep enrichment and immunomagnetic negative selection recover human neutrophil-derived migrasomes.
Low contamination, consistent quality
Purification reduces non-target components and protein contamination to obtain migrasome samples of consistent, reliable quality.
Broad sample compatibility
Suitable for human peripheral blood and fresh plasma; plasma stored at -80°C can also be processed as directed in the manual.
Broad downstream use
Supports migrasome counting, protein and RNA analysis, and cell-function studies.
SAMPLE REQUIREMENTS
Sample requirements
Fresh plasma may be used. When starting from peripheral blood, sodium citrate collection tubes are recommended. Peripheral blood intended for plasma preparation must not be stored for more than 4 hours before migrasome extraction.
Plasma stored at -80°C may be used, but freeze-thawing and plasma-preparation conditions may affect output and yield. Plasma obtained through blood-filtration membranes is not suitable.
EDTA-anticoagulated samples may be processed, but platelet contamination may increase. A fixed-angle rotor of 45° or greater is recommended for 20,000×g enrichment.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Which samples are suitable?
Human peripheral blood or plasma is suitable, and fresh plasma is recommended. Samples stored at -80°C may be used, but freeze-thawing and plasma-preparation conditions may affect output and yield. Plasma obtained through blood-filtration membranes is not suitable.
Which anticoagulant is recommended?
Use sodium citrate collection tubes. EDTA-anticoagulated blood has been tested but showed more platelet contamination. Other anticoagulants have not been tested; evaluating their suitability before use is recommended.
How long may fresh peripheral blood be held?
Peripheral blood used to prepare plasma should not be held for more than 4 hours before migrasome extraction because hemolysis may substantially affect separation.
How is one test defined?
One test is a crude preparation totaling OD280=100, calculated as A280 multiplied by sample volume in μL. PRHB002 and PRHB002S provide 20 and 5 tests, respectively.
How should centrifuge rotors be selected?
Use a swinging-bucket rotor when practical for low-speed plasma preparation and a fixed-angle rotor of 45° or greater for 20,000×g enrichment.
