Migrasome Therapeutics participated in the final and award ceremony of the 6th Zhongguancun International Frontier Technology Competition on May 28, 2023. Its project, a multifunctional delivery platform based on migrasomes as newly recognized organelles for intercellular communication, was named one of the Top 10 projects in the biopharmaceutical category.
The final brought together 39 companies and teams from biopharmaceuticals, artificial intelligence, integrated circuits, advanced manufacturing and new materials. Migrasome Therapeutics presented the company and its engineered migrasome delivery platform and met with representatives from government, industry and investment institutions.
Migrasomes were first discovered and named by the research team of Professor Li Yu, the company’s scientific founder. Building on their natural role in transporting biological materials and signals, the company is developing an engineered migrasome delivery platform and pursuing work in disease analysis, target discovery and drug development.
Professor Yu said the recognition reflected growing industry interest in migrasome biology and its potential applications. The company will continue advancing migrasome-related therapeutics and technology platforms.
