The SMART Symposium and first International Migrasome Conference were held in Shenzhen on November 14–15, 2023. Jointly organized by the Shenzhen Medical Academy of Research and Translation and Shenzhen Bay Laboratory, the meeting brought together more than 100 researchers from China, the United States, Germany, Israel and other countries.
The program covered four areas: migrasome biogenesis, biological functions, clinical applications and research technologies. More than 20 researchers presented recent findings and discussed the opportunities and challenges facing the emerging field.
Dr. Chen Dai, Director of R&D at Migrasome Therapeutics, presented the company’s work on migrasome cargo loading and delivery. He introduced the 3R framework—Read, Rebuild and Rectify—and the company’s efforts in disease analysis, diagnostics and drug-delivery platforms. As a conference sponsor, Migrasome Therapeutics also previewed an upcoming migrasome isolation and purification kit.
Dr. Leili Ran, Chief Business Officer, moderated a roundtable on the medical applications of migrasome research, bringing together participants from clinical medicine, academic research and investment.
Migrasome Therapeutics will continue to develop reliable and accessible tools that lower the technical barrier to migrasome research and support the growth of the field.
